Brief Job Description: -A Senior Yoga Trainer is a professionally trained individual with extensive additional training to be able to work with the guests on conducting the advanced yoga asanas, advanced pranayamas, advanced meditations and relaxation techniques. S/he is also expected to train Yoga Instructors on the intricacies of Yoga services Senior Yoga trainer Course.

Guidelines for Assessment:-
- Criteria for assessment for each Qualification Pack will be created by the Sector Skill Council. Each Performance Criteria (PC) will be assigned marks proportional to its importance in NOS. SSC will also lay down proportion of marks for Theory and Skills Practical for each

PC27. evaluate exercises performed by guests and recommend correction whenever required
PC28. ensure guest satisfaction and assist in answering all guest queries
PC29. store guest and equipment records, securely in line with the organization’s policies
PC30. leave the work area in a clean and hygienic condition suitable for further classes
PC31. design courses, practice modules, schedules and the lesson plans
PC32. assess the guests progress and achievements
PC33. review the course modules and the teaching skills of yoga instructors
PC34. provide yogic counselling to the guests to set their long or short term goals
PC35. provide specialized trainings theoretically and graphically to yoga instructors to become specialized Yoga Trainers
PC36. assess the performance of Yoga Trainers and instructors and design up skilling programs for them as per their needs
PC37. develop research methodologies and provide inputs/ participate in conducting research programs to evaluate the efficacies of yogic practice
PC38. represent the institutions in seminars/ workshops/ public forums/ conferences etc.
(Maintain health and safety at the workplace):-
PC1. set up and position the equipment, chemicals, products and tools in the work area to meet legal, hygiene and safety requirements
PC2. clean and sterilize all tools and equipment before use
PC3. maintain one’s posture and position to minimize fatigue and the risk of injury
PC4. dispose waste materials in accordance to the industry accepted standards
